Lessons From the Fire at Notre Dame Cathedral – Paris — April 2019

This is a picture I remember seeing on TV news after the tragic fire at Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris In April 2019. The Cross and the Pieta survive whole amidst charred ruins. What a picture.
Notre Dame means “Our Lady”. France has traditionally been known as a Catholic County.
The lesson which drops into my mind is this:
Perhaps in these last days, as many think that the Lord’s returning may be soon, even perhaps in our lifetime:
…just perhaps the people of France, and we the people of the world, should be thinking more of Jesus Himself than ‘Our Lady’.
Perhaps a lesson from this tragic fire which destroyed part of an 850 year old structure could be this:
It is time to:
FOCUS MORE ON THE MESSAGE THAN THE MESSENGER
