FREEDOM FROM PRIDE MONTH

Declaring June to Now Be the Month Of Humility and Humbleness

1200  Words                                                                                   By —  Pat Gunther

Just what is Humility and Humbleness?  Is everyone really sure?

Here is a comparison of Google, Merriam-Webster, and the Cambridge dictionary, and they do not all agree.

From Google:  “Humility is the quality of being humble.   a low self-regard and sense of unworthiness.

Merriam-Webster   The meaning of HUMILITY is freedom from pride or arrogance

Cambridge Dictionary:  low in rank or position – poor

Because of these conflicting viewpoints, I asked the LORD:  “Lord, what does it mean to be humble?”

He answered:

“Being humble is knowing and accepting your gifts and talents, and knowing Whom to thank.”

And also:

“Humility is not thinking less of yourself,  but thinking of yourself less.”

These last two statements sure do agree with FREEDOM FROM PRIDE AND ARROGANCE,  The Lord’s explanation does not even imply a sense of low self  esteem, unworthiness or poverty.

At the end of this calendar you will find a link to an article from THE WELL MIND further explaining the art and practice of humbleness.

With that clarification, this column welcomes Pat Gunther’s presentation on HUMBLE and Freedom From Pride Month. We think it is a very worthwhile study.

Here is what God says ARE the rewards of HUMBLENESS as found in the Holy Scriptures as assembled by Pat. We hope it will be printed off and taped next to your own calendar.                                                                                                        — M. LaClair

N.B ./ Nota Bene / Note Well.

From VeryWellMind.com:  Humility is the ability to view yourself accurately as an individual with talents as well as flaws while being void of arrogance and low self-esteem.1

Humility isn’t always seen as a strength but sometime’s thought of as a weakness. Some believe that humility is having low opinions of yourself, low self-esteem, and a lack of confidence. It is in fact the opposite, humility is having the self-esteem to understand that even though you are doing well, you do not have to brag or gloat about it.   From VeryWellMind.com  “Why is it important to be humble”

PRIDE: June Celebrating the Capital Sin

PRIDE:  JUNE CELEBRATING THE CAPITAL SIN

785 words                                     – Mary A. LaClair

June 18, 2022

They parade their sin like Sodom, Sodom was given as an example TO THOSE WHO WOULD COME AFTER…Is the church willing to influence the world?  Who then will warn?

As a follow up to the previous column which contains  a copy of an excellent column by Scott Lively run on June 13,2022 on the WND News Center titled: “Can Christian Russia Save the World from Globalism” – a good read: this column intends to go behind the scene and flush out reasons for the importance of his column.

Dare we ignore June as Gay Pride month thinking it does not affect us?   Silence often means approval  …That would be dangerous, and just what the gay radicals hope for.

Perhaps their Gay Manifesto, in their own words, should be warning enough to us all…. If we are paying attention…and we should be…for our children’s sake…

Their Manifesto lets us know what they are up to and just what their future plans are.

A copy of this Gay Manifesto, as filed in the U.S. Library of Congress, may be found at this link:

It is best to be well informed, not succumbing to lazy wishful thinking, and making the mistake of thinking the best of everyone.  (keep your friends close, your enemies closer)

It may also be found by Googling:  “Entropic U.S. Supreme Court”  I had to look up the meaning of the word ‘entropic’.  That in itself is enlightening.

I apologize for this next graphic but I use it because it is strongly informative and shows consequences of misguided compassion early on.  Things do not always stop where we would hope they would, if and when, they make implications they would be satisfied with just   ‘that one thing’ … at first.  Fool us once, shame on you. Fool us twice, shame on us.

Insert graphic   for some uncontrollable reason it now appears at the end (sorry)

.A good question to ask is ” where could this lead” ?  “Where WILL this lead?”

From the graphic we can see how things progress when we ‘go soft’. How far things have gone.

How did it get thus far?  Because we were duped into giving that infamous inch.

It was letting the Camel getting his nose Under the Tent:

Picture of this: there’s a circus tent, with happy people inside. The camel is not part of the ACT. He is outside the tent. He only wants to see what’s going on. Feeling sorry for the camel, we let him get his nose Under the Tent just to see what’s going on.  Then he wants to turn his head in order to see more.  So he gets his whole head in. Being tired of being on his knees and still wanting to see, he crawls half way under… and stands up. The tent comes crashing down on all the people inside.

That infamous inch: “give them an inch they take a mile”.

These principles can also be applied to gun control, abortion, confusion of gender identity,…. be compassionate and give them a little or agree with them a little and it will get expanded out of bounds beyond our imaginations.  We need to stand our ground in the world. We need to remain firm., whatever the issue.

The world is not supposed to influence the church. The church is supposed to influence the world.

God has something against those who Grant unmerited Mercy (Isaiah 26:10).

Isa 26:10

If favor is shown to the wicked, they do not learn righteousness; in the land of uprightness they deal perversely and do not see the majesty of the Lord .  NRSV

 Isa 26:10-11

Your kindness to the wicked doesn’t make them good; they keep on doing wrong and take no notice of your majesty.  They do not listen when you threaten; they will not look to see your upraised fist. Show them how much you love your people. Perhaps then they will be ashamed! Yes, let them be burned up by the fire reserved for your enemies. TLB

Warning is not judging. It is the job of the church to warn sinners outside the church. It is the job of the church to judge such sinners within the church.

We have been caught up in a world force of darkness, which we must come against. We must not be a lukewarm, compromising church. We’d best not be caught sleeping.

We ARE waking up as it concerns the right to life. But it must not stop there.

Other issues which must be fought are the issues of marriage as God instituted it.

We must fight to get pornography re-criminalized as a precursor to violent crime.

We must fight for a just and lasting punishment as deterrent for all human trafficking. (It is better to enter Heaven maimed than to enter Hell whole and the Bible does have something favorable to say about eunuchs.  It also is favorable of the death penalty The biblical directive for the penalty is addressed at LookListenANDThink.com.; or here at LookListenThink.Wordpress.com)

They parade their sin like Sodom, Sodom was given as an example TO THOSE WHO WOULD COME AFTER…

Is the church willing to influence the world?  Who then will warn?

Can Christian Russia save the world from globalism?

Two little-noticed news stories capture the true picture of the state of the global culture war today. The first is from the American deep red state of Idaho, where The Satanic Temple is holding a “Pride” event that features a “Drag Dance Party” and “Unbaptisms” – a ritual in which people who were once baptized…

THE SIN OF PRIDE

PRIDE MONTH?

                                                                              – By Mary A. LaClair

Again, we will be told that June is Gay Pride month. In addition to October being dubbed ‘coming out’ month, I can see the homosexual agenda try to adopt all twelve months soon! The fact that a vocal minority has dubbed June ‘ pride’ month should tell us another story aside from the gay word.

It is pretty common knowledge that PRIDE is the capital sin. Should that fact be overlooked?

Is there anyone reading this who can name the seven capital sins which, for good reason, are also known as the “seven deadly sins”?

Of those who can, congratulations to you!

Of those who cannot here is the list::  Pride, Lust, Envy, Anger, Covetousness (also called Greed or Avarice), Laziness (sloth), Gluttony.  These are the seven deadly sins. Many deal with attitude. The attitude leads to sin.

Most people can usually start the recitation with the first and greatest – that sin for which Lucifer was cast out of heaven ‑ PRIDE.

We know that gluttony leads to death. We know anger can lead to death. We know lust can lead to death (S.T.D’s  A.I.D.S.).  How soon can we expect to see a National Anger month?

But it is lesser known that Sodom & Gomorrah were destroyed, not just for sodomy (lust), but also for pride, gluttony and self-centeredness (covetousness), as documented in the Holy Scriptures in the book of Ezekiel chapter 16, verses 49‑50: “Behold this was the iniquity of your sister Sodom: Pride, overabundance of food (gluttony), prosperous ease (covetousness) and idleness (laziness) were hers; neither did she strengthen the hand of the poor and needy.(self centeredness) And they were haughty and committed abominable offense before Me, (gay pride parades?) therefore I removed them when I saw it and I saw fit.” (Amplified)]        photo from Ozone Inc. /Getty Images

“Sodom was an example unto those that after should live ungodly” (2 Peter 2:6 KJV).  This can be construed as a warning, and well should be by wise, understanding, and careful people.

To those of you reading this on the site for The Proverbs 1:20  Column I would encourage you to further look up Ezekiel 16:54 for continuing Scripture regarding Sodom where it goes on to say “That thou mayest bear thine own shame, and mayest be confounded in all that thou hast done, in that thou art a comfort unto them.” (KJV)  I suggest also the NKJV, NIV, RSV,       (cont’d below picture)

It is not enough to claim that Jesus loves us; we must prove to the Father who sent Jesus for us, that we return that love to the Father through Jesus. Obedience proves this to Him.  Do you think adulterers, liars, gluttons, the greedy, the envious, sodomites, or murders are obedient or disobedient to God?  We should all be familiar with the laws of cause and effect.  Proud people don’t need our approval, they need our prayers.  Perhaps June should be better dubbed ‘pray for a gay’ month.

The Holy Scriptures further address ‘gay pride’: “The look on their faces testifies against them; they parade their sin like Sodom; they do not hide it. Woe unto them! They have brought disaster upon themselves.”  Isaiah 3:9 NIV   Who then will warn?
