MSNBC asks Rev. Dr. Franklin Graham if Trump has a sin problem; and Graham brings up Obama. The question starts at about 5:11 in the ten minute concise daring video. Graham puts MSNBC straight on the issue… give a listen
Both Jesus and Trump call people some not very nice things: Trump is in good company metaphorically.
– by Mary A. LaClair
We hear much worse in our daily lives than we’ve heard this week from Trump. (1/10/18) Trump is human. Do we reject Jesus because He called religious leaders ‘broods of snakes’ and even ‘fools’, NO ! Because Jesus was right in doing so, and because He has too much else to offer. So does Trump ! You should not throw the baby out with the bathwater.
Jesus also said: beware those who strain at gnats and swallow camels !
Who would be so self-righteous so as to say they don’t use derogatory speech when they deem it necessary to emphasize a point? He made his point – the leaders of poor countries who don’t, and won’t, take care of their own as they live in luxury, are indeed ‘brood of snakes’ …or worse. I stand with Trump.
Jesus called the Scribes and Pharisees “fools, hypocrites, blind guides, whited sepulchers, murderers, a generation of snakes. He called men dogs and pigs, and children of the devil (John 8:44), men full of dead men’s bones.
6 “Do not give dogs what is sacred; do not throw your pearls to pigs. If you do, they may trample them under their feet, and then turn and tear you to pieces. NIV
31 At that time some Pharisees came to Jesus and said to him, “Leave this place and go somewhere else. Herod wants to kill you.” 32 He replied, “Go tell that fox,…NIV
Matthew 15:26 “it is not right to take the children’s bread and toss it to the dogs.”
Trump knows that this fits America.
God does not love everyone unconditionally, and neither should we, and neither should Trump!
God has a special love for the redeemed which does not apply in its fullness to the unregenerate. God detests the wicked and Heaven is not promised to them. Let us not lose sight of that. Are the leaders of poor countries wicked when they keep their people poor and do not run their countries properly, to the betterment of their own citizens? I think so, and apparently Trump thinks so. God is angry every day against the wicked, and justly so. Do I mind if Trump uses everyday vernacular to describe those whom he thinks ‘wicked’, no, I do not mind at all. He sees something too many others are too willing to ignore. There is a wrath of God, and there is a wrath of Trump; Trump’s wrath is nothing compared to God’s wrath. Let us not lose track of that.
Do we reject Jesus because He called religious leaders vipers, dogs and bad fruit, NO ! Because Jesus was right in doing so, and because He has too much else to offer. So does Trump !
They are NOT after Judge Roy Moore, what they are really after is THE TEN COMMANDMENTS.
Judge Moore is the one who put the monument of THE TEN COMMANDMENTS in the rotunda of the Court House. Liberals caused it to be removed to a back room with a black cloth over it; making people request to see it.
Not soon thereafter, Moore was forcefully removed from office for standing up for proper moral convictions and God, and that of his people; in spite of that, Moore was elected to a better post by the electorate of his district.
No, it is not Moore they are after, it IS the TEN COMMANDMENTS and morality and God that they are after. Are they actually wishing to see how the right might try to justify any conceived immorality in order to clear themselves?
But then, as Bill Clinton once said when being questioned in court in the Lewinski matter:
“It all depends on what the meaning of IS, is.”
Or are they asking, how dare we claim to accept the Apostle Paul of the Bible when in his younger days — as Saul — Paul killed people. Does that disqualify his ministry?
I am surprised at Fox News for not picking this up in a proper manner.
How soon the press forgets the good. May we all remember.
Moore has proven that he knows the importance of THE TEN COMMANDMENTS and morality and God.
THAT is what the left fears.
THAT is what the left is trying hard to eradicate.
CONSIDERING THE TRINITY
- By Mary Adele LaClair
One God, three Persons? Really? Or is it One God, assuming three different forms, as in water which is all three: fluid, ice, and vapor; or as in St. Patrick’s shamrock: one stem, three separate leaves; or as mankind: spirit, body, soul ?
Do we really know that Jesus IS THE CREATOR. He certainly is. He SPOKE everything into being. He is the WORD OF GOD, the Word made Flesh. Consider this:
Try to picture the Trinity like this, as it was told to me many years ago … and I’ve never been able to refute it :
GOD THE FATHER as the Mind of God
JESUS THE SON as the Word of God
HOLY SPIRIT as the Hand of God
Stick with me now;
Trying this example out on mankind, whom God made in His own image, we can see that each, our mind, our words, our actions are able to act independently of each other, able to act on their own, because we are able to speak without thinking and we are able to act without thinking and we are able to think without speaking and without acting. Each is independent of the other, yet we are one person. Our words have their own power and our actions have their own power.
In Creation at Gen 1:1 it says that God spoke and the Spirit moved across the waters.
John 1: “ In the beginning was the Word, the Word was with God and the Word was God”
Yes, Jesus Christ IS the CREATOR. No doubt about that!
The Eternal Word
1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. 4 In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. 5 And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend* it. NKJV
14 And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth. NKJV
We must acknowledge that we operate best when we think before we speak and when we think before we act. When all three operate in the same vein, we are operating as one, hopefully sensible, person.
So, at creation we have the Trinity: the Mind of God thought it; the Mouth of God spoke it; the Hand of God moved in Power over it.
This is by no means the only example and probably should not be limited to it; however I believe it is a good example for helping one trying to understand the Trinity, and Jesus’ part as Creator, speaking things into being.
Likewise, we should be careful how we speak, because as it is said, “The pen is mightier than the sword.”

DWELLING IN GREENER PASTURES
– by Mary Adele LaClair
The folks who say that the 20’s and 30’s are the ‘best times of our lives’, many times are deceiving us, not always, but often.
Those years can be the most unsettled, frustrating years. If we can just get through that period, life does promise to get better.
Every ten years, when my Dad hit a round number, starting at 40, he said that life keeps getting better. He said it at 40 years old, at 50, at 60, 70, at 80, and again at 90 years old.
At ninety-two, when asked, he said that he thought it had finally leveled off for him. At the ripe old age of 95 years he passed on, having said that getting THAT old wasn’t quite what it’s cracked up to be.
During my own trying and frustrating thirties, I finally found a light at the end of the tunnel, I found the risen Lord Jesus Christ. He knew where I was all along; but it was I who had just discovered Him. I knew of Him from church, but then I knew only of the crucified Christ. Now I had found the risen Christ, the Christ Who is alive and well, and in the world today in the Spirit.
At a time when I was tired of the unsettling frustration that the thirties can bring, He came to me in a very real yet uncertain way.
He gave me a vision of a broad river; He, in green pastures on the one side, and me, in infertile rocky fields on the other side. He seemed to be looking wistfully at me, and I was puzzled – then in my vision He communicated to my spirit, and my spirit heard.
“I wish to bring you to this side where you see Me now, I wish you to live in these peaceful green pastures, but you must cross the river. Your feet won’t touch bottom and sometimes the waves may threaten to overwhelm you. I can bring you across, but you must trust me. My Feet reach bottom. Will you let me help you across? The water may reach your neck and maybe even reach as high as your mouth, but I will not let you go under. Will you trust me?”
“You won’t let me go under even if the water reaches my chin?”
“No, my child, it may even reach your mouth, but I will not let you go totally under; you will get wet and feel the force of the water but I will keep your head above water. I am tall and strong and My Feet do touch bottom, but I say to you there will be waves which will threaten you. If you remain calm in My care, we will reach the other side and you will be where I want you, in green pastures with my people.”
With my face out of the water, my legs and body were floating just under the surface. With my neck and head caressed in the crook of His arm, I floated through the water as He walked backward toward the other side, pulling me, much the same as a life guard would, as He walked backwards through deep rushing water over the rough bottom. He walked backward, so that if I looked up I could feel and see Him with His strong hold still on me. This was important to know when the water got rough, and sometimes I had to repeat over and over to myself, “He will not let me go totally under”, “He will not let me go totally under.”
I made it to the other side, because of my Lifeguard.
At another time, later in life, I was visiting a local man who was despondent and in the hospital when I realized I was having a vision of Jesus standing between the head of the man’s bed and the wall – appearing as a veil: He appeared as a cloud, a mist. His hands on the head of the bed, His eye ever on the man, watchful, caring, loving. Going out in the hall, I fall against the wall and breathlessly exclaim, “JESUS, YOU ARE WITH HIM!”
“Then why THIS?”
“Because, he doesn’t know that I am with him.”
Dear reader, do YOU know that Jesus is with you? He is EVERWHERE, wherever you are, whoever you are, He sees you, He knows what you are doing and where you are and what you are going through. Talk to Him as if He were there, because He is.
Since Jesus Christ is THE LORD to call upon the Name of Jesus is calling upon the Name of the Lord.
Have a little talk with Jesus.
“All who call upon the Name of the Lord shall be saved.” Romans 10:13, & Acts 2:21
HE knows your thoughts, your words, your actions and your deeds anyway, so just start talking to Him. He waits for you to acknowledge Him and to initiate a conversation with Him.
What? You say how can God know where you are at all times, does He really keep track of you?
Does your GPS keep track of you and know where you are at all times?
How can God hear me, or you, when we call, with so many people on earth?
Does a smart phone hear you when you call…and even give answers to a myriad of questions instantly?
Look in any parking lot, your key fob does not open or start anyone else’s car.
Again in any parking lot or large crowd, see how many cell phones are in operation yet no signals get mixed up.
Can God do any less, we ask?
Oh, the despondent man in the hospital…. He found Jesus, (Jesus always knew where the he was) but the man found Jesus. He got a new job, re-married, became a Pastor and now holds a Master of Theology Degree.
After posting this, the story of Gideon came as a reminder. He did not know that the Lord was with Him; after finding that out, his actions changed. He became victorious.
It is the old testament parallel to today’s despondent man mentioned above, and they are witness to each other that God is still working today.
What could YOU do if you knew the Lord was with you….
…or what would you NOT do if you knew the Lord was with you?
Gideon’s story is found in chapter six of the book of Judges. You may find a brief quote of it in the next section right along with the other Scriptures mentioned above …
“Cast all your cares upon Him for He cares for you.” 1 Peter 5:7

Pseudo Peace With Israel
– by Mary A. LaClair
Does the world really want to see peace between Palestine and Israel? Nice thought, but is it possible? Proof, it is often said, is in the pudding.
Let’s see what this pudding mix contains.
Here is a history of the kind of ‘Peace’ Palestine has worked out in the past – not once, not twice, not three times… but FIVE TIMES. Three strikes and you’re out! Fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me. Fool me five times….? REALLY?
Check out this article:
History repeats itself, yes? Anyone goin’ for a sixth? Apparently so.
Not convinced that peace is impossible? It is strange to me that those trying to force peace often believe that warring spouses can best get along by living apart – with walls between them, even to the point of separate residences. Likewise, most countries have protective borders to separate and protect, yet these ‘peace talks’ do not want a wall between the warring parties of Palestine and Israel. I just don’t get it.
Might as well put a bird and a cat in a box and say “live together in peace” because I want you to. Will it work? Of course not. A divorce attorney might as well tell fighting couples to just live together in peace just because he wants them to. Matter of fact: people might be killed, and often are in this scenario. The situation is no different when it comes to Israel, nations and borders.
Sometimes a wall – a separation – is just what is required to insure peace – peace between sparring spouses and of course peace between sparring nations. One is like the other. What will NOT work for some individuals (living together) – will likewise NOT work for some countries. This is one of those instances. Enemies are supposed to live in peace because others want them to? Don’t think so in this instance any more than in the examples given.
Anyone for the underdog in this scenario? Let’s take a look at just who the underdog is here.
In this video you will hear that a supposed Christian church, the PC-USA is involved in BDS, boycott, divest and sanction Israel, when God says Israel is the ‘apple of God’s eye’:
Indeed, the PC-USA National was caught with prayers to Allah! See: “God’s Name: What’s in a Name” in category column to the right.
